sAIge — selfie in her loft

the lore

Heartbreak,
step by step.

The album is a story circle — eight beats of one first love, told across twelve songs. Read it in order. Play it as you go.

01 — YOU

Comfort

sAIge, 24, Black Dominican, thriving alone in a loft that smells like sofrito and candle smoke. Two huskies on the couch, an upright piano she treats like church, a lightbox that says 'feel something.' She's confident. She's single. She's fine. (She's performing fine.)

02 — NEED

The Craving

Under the bravado there's a hum she can't mute: she wants something real. Not attention — connection. Someone who learns her love language instead of guessing at it.

03 — GO

The Fall

He catches her off guard. First kiss, first night, first vulnerability. His jacket shows up on her door hooks. Two coffee mugs in the sink. For once, the bed is made. She gives herself completely — and it terrifies her.

04 — SEARCH

The Cracks

Every attempt to reach him creates more distance. She speaks in songs; he answers in silence. The apartment starts to feel smaller. She realizes she's suffocating, not connecting.

05 — FIND

The Receipts

Something feels off, and she can't unfeel it. She starts looking — texts, stories, patterns. Every clue leads to more questions, until it doesn't. The proof. Undeniable.

06 — TAKE

The Price

The confrontation breaks them both. His cologne vanishes from the nightstand. Empty spaces where his things were. He took the trust, the sleep, the songs — but you can't take the soul.

07 — RETURN

The Spiral

3 AM energy. She sends the text. She starts driving. Rage in one hand, grief in the other, his door at the end of the road. She finds something there she didn't expect.

08 — CHANGE

The Gunshot

A gunshot. Silence. To be continued…

The story isn't over.

She posts the next chapters as 60–90 second confessions. Follow her, or join the inner circle and hear it first.
